Bendel Insurance Football Club Stadium
The Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium is known as a multi-purpose stadium which is situated in Benin City, Edo Nigeria, with has a capacity of 20,000 people. The stadium was originally known as Ogbe Stadium, it is the original home stadium of Bendel Insurance Football Club which is mostly used for their football matches.
It was recorded that the stadium was named after the two times Governor of the old Bendel State, Dr Samuel Ogbemudia but the stadium was banned by the National League because it was not up to league standards.
Though recently some significant changes have been made in the stadium since Comrade Adams Oshiomhole assumed office as Governor and the stadium in no due time is expected to come out better more than expected.
