Bendel Insurance Football Club was birthed in the year 1972, it is the main football club of the state and has many skilled and talented players who have played in Nigeria’s super team clubs, and those who are playing for other international clubs in Africa and globally.
The football club uses Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium as their main training ground and other football exercises, though the stadium is currently undergoing some renovations to meet up to standard and required by National League and the result is expected to come better.
The club has won many national and African championships such as CAF Cup, and other, statistics have also shown that the club has won the Nigerian Premier League five times.
Bendel Insurance Football Club aims to be the best football club in Nigeria and also works hard to develop, train, mentor, market and promote the football club players to any level both national and international.
